SHHHHH!!! It's a SECRET!

Not really. But Adler's teachers at school seem to think my cookie recipe is a winner. So here it is: the recipe that I got in the mail that was actually addressed to the previous owners (it came with a bunny rabbit cookie cutter!)

FAMOUS SUGAR COOKIE RECIPE:

1 Cup Butter (softened)

2/3 Cup Sugar

**blend together until smooth

1 egg

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

2 1/2 Cup Flour

**blend remaining ingredients

Bake at 350 degrees (or 375 if you are always in a hurry, like me!)

Use cookie press or cookie cutters and decorate!

Now, I like to decorate the lazy way with the squeezable cookie icing tubes that you can buy at the store. But there are plenty of cookie icing recipes online. Go with Martha. She can do no wrong!!

Hey! So I was just reading a posting on one of my favorite blogs, Cupcakes Take The Cake, and it gave me a great idea for Adler's birthday party. In addition to Superhero cupcakes, I will also make Frosting Shots! Hello! For those of us who don't actually like cakes (even though I do enjoy baking them), this is the perfect idea.
